Orion Harrison Greene was born on March 23rd, 2010. He was 8 pounds, 5 ounces -- a little bit bigger than his big brother. We've posted the first post-Orion flickr set and added the link to Orion and Floyd's webpage.
Floyd turned two in February. He is adjusting to life as a big brother, but it hasn't been easy. Floyd's favorite things these days are: swimming; riding on the bike with daddy; and his Curious George books. Lots more pictures and videos available on the kids' page.
Friends gathered in San Francisco at the Kezar Pub to watch the multi-day Game 5. We celebrated into the night on Wednesday:
A few years ago, while I was updating this site, 6/21/03 - 3p PT, I listened to the end of one of the most exciting baseball games in Phillies history. The Phils beat the Red Sox 6-5 in 13 innings after trailing 2-1 most of the game, 3-2 in the 12th, and 5-3 in the 13th. Todd Pratt's pinch hit 3-run walk-off HR capped the Sox 3rd blown save of the afternoon. Nomar went 6-for-6, but the Phillies pulled it out. Unbelievable.
Here's the box score, the recap, and an .mp3 of the highlights/recap (thanks WPEN).
